What We Are

Crossroads Recovery Services is full service agency providing comprehensive alcohol/drug treatment and mental health counseling at affordable rates. It is our mission to offer all individuals in need of our services access to the latest and most effective models of treatment. Our service delivery is tailored to coordinate with the specialized requirements of various referral sources.

We are a Columbus, Ohio based facility that specializes in providing support to DUI offenders in fulfilling their court assigned responsibilities.

Who We Are

Terry Donohue M.Ed., L.P.C.C.

Terry is the Clinical Director of Crossroads. He is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Terry has over 18years experience in the alcohol and drug counseling profession. Terry earned a bachelors degree from Boston State College in 1983. He started his counseling career at Maryhaven in 1989. Terry earned his Masters Degree from the University of Dayton in 1995 while working as a counselor on Dan Cannon Hall at Maryhaven. After leaving Maryhaven and prior to becoming the Clinical Director at Crossroads Terry was the Clinical Director at the House of Hope. Terry is also an Adjunct faculty member for the University of Dayton. Beside his duties as Clinical Director Terry continues to counsel clients on an individual basis and facilitate educational alcohol and drug classes at Crossroads.

Peter Grimm

Pete is a lifetime resident of Columbus, Ohio. He has ten years experience as an administrator in the substance abuse field. He graduated from Ohio Dominican College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Prior to becoming a member of the Crossroads staff Pete worked at the House of Hope.

Jim Vassel - LISW-S, LICDC

Jim completed his B.A. in Psychology in 1990 from Otterbein College and completed his Master of Social Work Degree in 1992 from the Ohio State University. He has worked at Crossroads since 1998, developing the Anger Management Program in 1998 and the Marijuana Specific Program in 2002 and has been the group facilitator since their inception. Jim has provided mental health and alcohol/drug services since 1998 and provides assessments anger management, domestic violence and alcohol/drug assessments.
